Our Programs

Sewing Lessons:

Lessons are taught one on one according to your  level of ability.  We have eight sewing machines, one serger and one commerical sewing machine.  Our volunteers are experienced and willing to assist you.  Fabric and patterns are free.  We also do sewing projects  for those in need in our community and nation.

Canning Lessons:

Cannning is  taught during the summer and fall seasons when produce is readily available.  Canned goods are sold at the Women's Well and given away to those in need.  We can vegatables, relishes, and jellies and jams. Prices are very reasonable.

Bible Studies:

Bible classes are conducted on a regular basis.  We have facilitators who come to our place and conduct different studies.  These studies are non-denominational and all women are welcome.  They are offered  in the day and at night.

Quilting Instruction:

Quilting is done on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We have a large frame that can accomodate 12 quilters. We also have two small quilt frames that two can be quilting at the same time.

Our ladies learn by doing. The experienced quilters help the less experienced quilters.  More important than a perfect quilt is the fellowship of women.

Cooking  Healthy Lessons:

Meals are served and cooking instructions offered.  At the Women's Well, we believe fresh is best.   Healthy alternatives to processed foods is encouraged and taught.   The women bring a covered dish to share on with each other.

As our ministry grows, so grows our offering of classes.  We have already expanded our outreach to children who want to learn sewing and cooking skills.

Be Blessed and Be Ready to Serve God.  Volunteers welcomed.
